FAQs

The Landings is located at the foot of the Pigeon Island Causeway on the northwest tip of Saint Lucia, between Gros Islet and Pigeon Island National Park, on Rodney Bay. It’s about 7 minutes from Rodney Bay Village and 17 minutes from Castries.

The Landings is not all-inclusive by default. The resort offers an optional Meal-Inclusive plan that can be added to any booking and covers à la carte dining across all four restaurants, house wines by the glass, beer, cocktails, and the non-motorized water sports program. Most guests book on a room-only or B&B rate and add the meal plan if it fits their trip.

The Landings is an all-suite resort with 80 villa-style suites in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, housed in three-story residential buildings. There are no traditional hotel rooms — every accommodation is a full villa-scale suite.

Beachfront suites sit directly on the beach with sandy steps from the sea. Ocean View suites occupy elevated positions with framed sea views — typically on upper floors. Marina View suites overlook the resort’s private yacht marina. Beachfront and Ocean View suites include butler service as standard; Marina View has it available on request.

Many two- and three-bedroom suites — particularly the Beachfront, Ocean View, and Grand Marina View categories — include a private plunge pool. One-bedroom suites and entry-tier Marina View suites typically do not have a private pool but have full access to the resort’s four shared pools.

Yes — The Landings has Saint Lucia’s only resort yacht marina, with moorings for guests, owners, and visiting yachts. The marina is a defining feature of the property and was the original concept when the resort opened in 2007 as Saint Lucia’s first private residential yacht community.

Butler service is included as standard in all Beachfront and Ocean View suites. In Marina View suites, butler service is available on request — InterStays can arrange this at the time of booking.

Yes — The Landings is genuinely family-friendly. The all-suite design with full kitchens makes families especially comfortable, and there’s a complimentary Kids Club for ages 4+ and a Teens Club for older children. Babysitting is available with advance reservation, and the resort has a dedicated Kids Wiggly pool. At the same time, the adults-only pool means couples and child-free guests have their own space.

There are four restaurants: Suru (signature Asian-fusion dinner, formerly The Palms), The Beach Club Restaurant (all-day beachside with Caribbean-themed cuisine), Callaloo Beach Bar & Grill (relaxed beachfront lunch with Caribbean farm-to-table specialties), and The Coffee Shop (lobby café and roastery). Bars include the Viscount Lounge, the Turquoise Beach Bar, and beach-level service at Callaloo.

Reservations are recommended at Suru and The Beach Club, particularly during peak season. Callaloo and The Coffee Shop are walk-in. Reservations can be made through the concierge.

Most international travelers fly into Hewanorra International Airport (UVF), which is about 85–90 minutes from the resort. George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) is much closer — about 21 minutes — but mainly handles regional Caribbean flights.

Private taxi from UVF (about 85–90 minutes, typically USD $95 for up to 3 passengers), helicopter transfer (about 10 minutes flight time plus short ground transfer), or boat transfer to the resort’s private marina are all available. Private taxi from SLU runs about 21 minutes. InterStays can arrange any option.

The lobby pavilion has an elevator and the property is mostly flat. Suites are in three-story residential buildings — some have elevators, some require stairs to upper floors. A 24-hour internal golf-cart shuttle covers the entire resort. Guests with significant mobility needs should request a ground-floor suite and contact InterStays before booking to confirm suitability.

Yes — the resort’s private marina hosts moorings for guests arriving by boat. Advance reservation is required. InterStays can coordinate marina logistics alongside your stay.

Check-in is from 4:00 PM, which is slightly later than typical Caribbean resorts. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. The lobby and amenities are available before and after these times.

Pets are not permitted at The Landings. Service animals with documentation are accommodated

Yes. The Landings runs a ‘Work & Play’ program for stays of 30 nights or longer with discounted rates and added perks. The full-villa accommodations make extended stays unusually viable, and the resort is one of the strongest options on the island for remote-work or slow-travel itineraries.

Saint Lucia’s dry season (December through April) offers the most reliable weather. Shoulder months (May, June, November) typically have better value and lighter occupancy. Hurricane season runs roughly June through November, though storms reaching Saint Lucia are relatively uncommon. InterStays can advise on timing for your specific trip.
